Until week 6 of MPL ID S14, EVOS Glory has not yet risen and is still far from the expectations of many MLBB fans in Indonesia. Even the White Tigers are now almost certain not to qualify for the playoffs if they suffer another defeat.
In the regular season of MPL ID S14, EVOS Glory has played 11 matches. However, of the many matches that have been played, Anavel et al have only won once, which of course is far from the predictions of many parties, considering that last season they were runners-up.
This result temporarily places EVOS Glory at the bottom of the MPL ID S14 regular season standings. They still have five matches left to rise and also get them out of the red zone, although there are many conditions that must be met.
Of course, the situation currently being experienced by EVOS Glory is due to several factors, both from the players, coaches, and management. The reason is, if you look at the quality that the White Tigers have in these three sectors, they have everything to be the best this season.
Former MLBB EVOS Esports team manager, Aji Wicaksono alias SOA, tried to express his opinion regarding the cause of EVOS Glory’s declining performance in MPL ID S14. As someone who was once on the team, he mentioned several factors that could be the cause.
When met by toktotoslot on the sidelines of the coverage of the National Sports Week aka PON XXI 2024 Aceh-Sumut, Mas Aji, who was also present at the Medan International Convention Center venue, revealed several things that could be the cause of EVOS Glory’s decline in MPL ID S14.
Indirectly, Mas Aji touched on the three sectors that currently exist in EVOS, namely players, coaches, and management in building a team to face MPL ID S14.
In my opinion, EVOS has given their best in Season 13. Giving a breakthrough that can make them from zero to runner-up. Maybe there is a factor that makes them quickly satisfied with (the results of) Season 13 yesterday which makes them unable to maximize in Season 14.
“I also see that there may be a factor of Coach Theo’s absence, which may have had an indirect impact because it is very different when comparing seasons 13 and 14. Then, there is also the player selection factor. I don’t know what their structure is like now in selecting and scouting players, but it is certainly not effective this season,” Mas Aji.
MLBB Professional League Indonesia Season 14 (MPL ID S14) is back in the early week of August and is ready to present top duels that will spoil the eyes of professional Mobile Legends activists.
This season will be a very crucial competition for all participating teams, not only the main prize and the championship title are up for grabs, but also two tickets to the M6 World Championship.
The disappointing results obtained by Indonesian teams in the last few international tournaments are a reminder that MPL ID teams must improve in order to compete again and bring home the championship trophy to their homeland.
